Back to knitting

After a frustrating trip to 2 stores in search of the yarn needed to finish the blanket, I gave up and took a knitting project to knitting last night. I cast on (and cast on, and cast on - I couldn't focus at the beginning of the night) Alison's first pink & purple sock. Considering I was there for almost 3.5 hours, I didn't get very far, but the conversation with my girlies was delightful!

And Alison has mastered first position...like a fox. :)
